What a difference a week makes, huh?

The room is coming along beautifully. New windows in, paneling almost done, conduit for electricity is in, doors have been purchased, tile has been purchased, light fixtures have been purchased, painter/interior decorator is bringing me samples based on a picture I showed him. BTW, I love him! I met him for like 5 minutes and I wanted to be his best friend.




A/C is going in first of next week and then will be able to start wrapping everything up and start dealing with the finishing work. This room probably would have been done by now but I insisted that the paneling run vertically. I HATED the way it looked horizontally. So that slowed things down quite a bit. Sorry, Matthew!

It's amazing how fast the money goes once you start spending it though. It's like water. And even though I know this is what we've been saving for all this time it's still hard to see the account start to dwindle. Makes me kind of queasy.
