Snapshots

Construction on our addition has started. We changed our plans slightly. Instead of going up 2 stories on the left side of the house we decided on just one story and then decided to make our screened porch a proper 'sun room' with real windows, doors, insulation, electricity, A/C, etc. They only thing we'll be missing is a half bath that we had tried to work in. But we'll be saving money and it will get done quicker. I'm all in a twitch to get started on the nursery (Mom and Dad shipped those 8 boxes of stuff this week) so this plan will help me get a move on that.

This is the left side of the screened porch 'before'. We had cleaned almost everything out already so you don't get a good idea of what the room actually looked like but just imagine a covered storage area and you've got it. That's what this porch had turned into because it got so dirty so quickly. This is what the room looked like when I went to bed Thursday night.


This is what it looked like when I woke up Friday morning. Those guys are fast.

That was last week. I'll try to get another shot this week so we can all compare. The baby is kicking me like crazy. S/he is STRONG!
