Meet our blurry, little blob.
Ultrasound on the 29th of June confirmed a tiny little spec of something with a fluttering heartbeat of 139 bpm. I'm not convinced it wasn't a prawn.
I'm not as far along as I had thought initially, because, well you see I just don't do math and this whole 40 weeks starting from the date of your last period but wait, how long are your cycles! la de dah threw me for a loop. As of today I am 7 weeks 5 days pregnant.
My two dominant modes are starving and exhausted.
I had just found out via a home pregnancy test before I went on my nearly two week long vacation to NC.
I had an amazing time, but my dear friends and family kicked my ass. I only got to nap twice, TWICE, the entire time I was there! It was inhumane to say the least.
More to come when I can keep my eyes open or when I'm not stuffing my face.

I decree hence forth I shall be know as "Nonnie" grandmother extraordinaire to my little prince or princess.....(I'm just a tad excited...can you tell???)

I just realized something.
I GET TO GO SHOPPING FOR BABY CLOTHES!!!!! What woman doesnt love to shop for baby clothes...I mean really...carter blankets and sleepers. OH, and the baby towel sets...
Hmm, Belks...I need makeup anyway.
I feel a shopping trip coming, Cindi, Nana, an out of towner perhaps???? :)
